Fluid On The Lungs

On Monday I go into hospital to have a talc procedure done and to have my lungs drained. Twice already, I have had to go to hospital with shortness of breath due to fluid on the lungs. The talc procedure seals up the chest cavity to stop the fluid build up, so I won't get the shortness of breath. Apparently this problem is caused by the breast cancer. It will be such a relief to be able to breath properly again. I have been very much limited in what I can do because of the shortness of breath. The slightest bit of exertion has caused me to become breathless. Then I have had to rest for quite awhile to get my breath back.

The first time they drained the fluid, they sent some of it away for testing, and found there was cancer cells in the fluid. This is something I could do without, especially since I have also been diagnosed with metastized bone cancer with the primary cancer being breast cancer.

But I continue to do everything I can to build up my immune system, so it can get my body back in order. Cancer is caused by the immune system being out of whack. I have also chosen not to have chemo or radiation as they wreck the immune system, and you need it well so your body can fight the cancer.
